    Site registration is not required for access to primary content; instead, it provides a shielded venue for industry professionals and others to edit and share exclusive or protective information - such as email addresses, courtesy advisories, non-public commentaries, and so on...

  2. When registering, why am I asked for my date of birth, location and gender?

    Basic CMS site registration is exclusively maintained via Webs ID, which also maintains an EXTREMELY large assortment of other websites, both professional and social.  As a benefit to using Webs ID services, each approved CMS associate is also then instantly approved to network with any other maintained site from the Webs ID network - and vice-versa, as well...

    To further clarify, information provided during the registration process is neither collected by nor forwarded to CMS; furthermore, each approved site associate has the ability to publicly share or not share any bit of information from his or her own Webs ID profile - including date of birth, location and gender...
